Chi è FOURNIER ?
I tre bolli sono ristampe dell'epoca?
Sono state ottenute da cliche originali?

Gentile Dix 95,

il Fournier era un tipografo-litografo attivo dai primi anni del '900 in Francia: la sua attività principale, per quanto di nostro interesse , era quella di stampare facsimile di francobolli conosciuti fino ad allora di tutto il mondo e di venderli ai collezionisti come FACSIMILE. Altra sua attività fù quella di restauratore di francobolli e lettere. La sua attivià fù alla luce del sole, e non era suo proposito frodare i collezionisti...in seguito molte sue creazioni, particolarmente ben eseguite, a distanza di qualche decennio, cominciarono a essere immesse sul mercato filatelico come originali, cioè per frodare i collezionisti....oggi con l'avvento delle vendite su internet, ma anche prima, questi FACSIMILE hanno inondato il mercato di scambio tra privati collezionisti ed è fondamentale, per chi si accinge a collezionare ASI, avere prima studiato i falsi Fournier e altri...
Per rispondere infine alla sue due ultime domande, questi francobolli non sono quindi stampati con clichè originali, per cui non rientrano, credo tra le ristampe d'epoca. Io li classifico, nonstante non fosse nelle intenzioni del suo creatore, dei FALSI.
