The Lipizzaner, also known as the Emperor's horse, is the Austrian pedigree race of horses dating back to the magnificent age of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, a symbol of Austria and a tourist attraction par excellence. For decades, the Lipizzaners have been associated with the Spanish Riding School in Vienna, in which the noble horses are trained in accordance with the classical art of riding.
