Scarce 1975 postcard showing the beachfront at the Truk Continental Hotel in Moen, Oceania. Also called Weno, Moen is the main administrative island of the State of Chuuk. It’s in the Caroline Islands of Micronesia, northeast of New Guinea and east of the Philippines. After World War II, the islands were a trust territory of the United States, at the time this card was mailed. Since then, the islands have gained their independence. A desirable Oceania collectible in excellent condition.
