Item description:
Hutt River Province is in Western Australia and became a separate province in the 1970´s.  A Google search will tell you lots more about Hutt River Province which has been issuing its own stamps since 1976.  The birds on the first day cover here were the very first set, now over 30 years ago.   Scarce cover showing all 8 birds in the set (some covers are known with less than the full set of 8).
