CAL began its Taipei-Dubai-Amsterdam service in 1983. On April 12, 1984,it inaugurated a new flight between Taipei and Amsterdam by way of New York. By connecting the two routes, CAL has fulfilled its long-cherished goal of establishing a global service, and thereby marks an significant milestone in the history of our civil aviation.
