I purchased a couple of items out right from an individual in China...on FEB 1st...even after telling him I was done and requesting invoice about 6 times now in various methods. (direct email, through the item page, AND through WHO the person is on this site) I have YET to have him even acknowledge my emails or purchases. This leaves me not feeling very trustworthy to even send this person money. As a buyer I feel I should at least be responded to before I send some stranger money. So what do I do? He has 100% feedback, I could pay immediately through Paypal but now I don't trust anything about this person. And I'm kinda annoyed that I wasted my time picking out anything from this persons shop when there's a lot of good people out there that DO appreciate business.

Please advise, :help:

hi chris,
china is a ying/yang area. i have had good and bad experiences with buyers and sellers there. the first few buyers did not pay, then i finally got one good honest one who did and repeated his business with me. and i had very good luck with the taiwan chinese. i have had bad luck with the middle east and good luck, so you just never know. i have given up trying to judge the world by countries. it is only the individual you can make an opinion on. if you don't receive any communication from this individual, that isn't your fault. just report it to pascal, and let him handle it. you have done your best to resolve the situation. don't send any payment until this person has earned your trust. and don't worry about the negative feedback. you have the dispute resolution process you can utilize. perhaps his computer is down or there is a problem with the internet there, who knows in china. this is the storm season there too. take care and don't get so frustrated. ;)
later gator,
cajunsr.

Thanks guys, I appreciate your input...I've been auctioning online for 7 years as a buyer and a seller and this whole thing seems a bit red flagged to me. According to Delcampe this person logs in almost daily and I know as a seller myself, I would certainly have addressed this long long ago. That's just part of good business and I appreciate all my buyers hence I have many repeat ones. Just got in from the hospital seems I was likely re-exposed to the Chicken Pox virus and now have shingles. (I work in an Elementary school) Very painful so this has now become the least of my worries.

Hope you are both well. The declared Pennsylvania a state of disaster yesterday but fortunately no snow yet today...but another is on it's way.

Hello Chris,

I agree with your ideas of trading - but I as well had to learn, that different people have different ideas. I simply resumed, that as long as I don't loose anything (a little work excluded), I will just forget about... What you found in there you will find again if you just have a little patience. By the way, did you find the "rocks" already?
And - keep your hands on the keyboard (I know, how it's like...) ;)
Best regards

Yessur I was put on a VERY expensive Anti viral...$253.00 before my insurance and because of having to meet my deductible on my scripts 173.00. I got a script for Vicodin...thank goodness. I don't have to work for until Tuesday so hopefully this nips it in the butt. At least the headache I had yesterday is gone and we know what this thing that looks like a burn is. It was a painful evening last night.

Thanks for the postive energy!
Chris

Alf where you from, my hubby's family came from Röhrda, Hessen Kassel a LONG time ago. I do genealogy and researched the church records in that area. ...he was stationed over there too after he was in Saudi for Kuwait...Wurtzburg? Giebelstadt? (not sure of the spellings of those two)

Just was wondering ;)

hey alf,
don't know where the hell my grandpa's german ancestors came from, but i sure do like that sauerkraut and spareribs. my mom used to make that a lot when i was much younger. she was a heck of a good cook. she passed in 1990 from lung cancer. :( i quit smoking 4 years later at her request before she died. she was a wise and loving mother. ;) thanks mom. i love you.

Crabs with Sauerkraut?! Strange combination... ;)
Beside, forget about the idea, that we're eating that stuff every day - I guess that majority of people in here HATE Sauerkraut and will not touch it at all. Historically seen, it's just a kind of winter's veggie, because there has not been any other kind to get any vitamins in winter. It's working well with fat meat - but most people nowadays refuse fat meat as well. Spare ribs in here are seen as US food... :D
